Celloom Furniture Corporation was established June 2003 as a manufacturer and exporter of high-end outdoor and indoor furniture made of special kind of paper called LOOM & PLASTIC also known as synthetic fiber, woven to aluminum frame. The first and only loom furniture manufacturer/exporter at present in the Philippines recognized in terms of the materials being used. The company was named CELLOOM FURNITURE CORPORATION or CEBU Loom Furniture Corporation taken from the word LOOM, which can be easily identified and recognized through its name.
The company was put up by Mr. Manuel A. Dizon, Chairman of the Board of Directors to acquire high quality loom and synthetic fiber furniture through his beliefs that Cebuanos are innovative, well crafted and quality inclined. The company was started with a handful of employees taken from its sister companies and reached the hundred levels lately due to the high increase of demand.
The Products
Celloom Furniture Corporation being the only company in the Philippines that process aluminum frame, loom made of paper and synthetic fiber / plastic weaving materials is already an edge but putting it in the world market is a goal that we long to achieve. The main product lines are made of aluminum frame precision bended and shaped using bending and rolling machines. The aluminum frames are powder coated and woven with high quality material called paper LOOM Wicker weaving materials purely imported from Europe and SYNTHETIC FIBER (plastic) weaving materials in wide range of colors and sizes to choose, imported directly from Indonesia intended for indoor and outdoor furniture. The weaving and upholstery process is done by fine craftsmanship to manufacture a quality product with stability, beauty and comfort.
The Company main market is United States but we are now reaching by developing products to weave its way into the European, Middle East and Australian market. Best quality, best price and on time delivery is our best assets in this industry, therefore we put much emphasis on these criteria in winning a niche in the world market with Celloom contemporary to modern designs, superior craftsmanship and quality woven loom and synthetic fiber.
The Product Line Development
As outdoor furniture becomes a trend in the world market, Celloom Furniture Corp. strives to develop more innovative designs using new materials. Recent analysis based on our company’s sales showed a rapid increase in the demand of furnitures woven with synthetic fiber. It is for this reason that the said material becomes the center of our studies and development.
Today, 75% of CFC’s products are woven in Synthetic Fiber known for its brand as “VIRO”. A totally UV protected and weather resistant material imported from Indonesia.
Although paper loom woven furniture manufacturing is down to 25%. Still it contributes quite a big role to the company’s economy as a whole not forgetting the act that it gives the company its name.
